The mighty first person shooter series Battlefield is back with a bang with the latest installment Battlefield 5. It’s proclaimed as the greatest shooter game ever made so far. After a month of beta session, Battlefield V is officially available in the market for Windows , PS4 and XBOX one. We have noticed mixed reviews about the game so far since there are a bunch of issues like  errors, crashes and bugs that aren’t letting the users download and install Battlefield V on their PCs. How to Fix Errors, Crashes and Bugs in Battlefield 5:

Stuttering issues in Battlefield 5 fix:

If you’re running on Direct X 12 and seeing stuttering issues while  in-game, go into the Video settings in-game and toggle Direct X 12 off. Ignore the pop-up, exit back to the options screen, then restart your game. Also, make sure that your drivers are upto date. Nvidia and AMD have released the latest game ready drivers and they are available on their official websites.

Battlefield V Crashes to Desktop/ Crashes on Startup Fix:

There are several threads reported regarding the crashing issues of Battlefield 5. We have several workarounds for this and since the configurations differ from PC to PC, we recommend you to try each of them.

  • Make sure that you have updated the drivers.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the game.
  • Turn off XMP profile in BIOS.

Battlefield V Doesn’t Open Fix:

Your antivirus and firewall could be an issue. Below are few of the solutions for this issue.

  • Whitelist the game in your antivirus settings.
  • Allow the game in your firewall.
  • Verify the integrity of game cache files. If any files are missing, update them.

  • If you are using laptop, then make sure that you have switch from integrated graphics to dedicated ones.
  • Try disabling V-sync.
  • Close all the running background tasks.
  • Set High priority to the exe file  in the Task Manager.
  • Switch from DX 12 to DX 11.
